In addition to the news relating to the 66% increase of Immigration Health Surcharge and an increase of fines for illegal workers (up to £60,000) introduced in February 2024, it has been announced that, in April 2024, there will be a significant increase of the minimum salary threshold of the Skilled Worker route, amongst other changes. A new restriction to bring dependants of students who started courses in 2024 has also been introduced.
