The Italian immigration process has historically been seen as challenging compared to other EU countries, but significant improvements were made to the process throughout 2023.
These changes include a reform to the EU Blue Card directive which has established a more business friendly framework and a decree that has resulted in a faster work start date for many non-EU nationals.
