The Canadian federal government is keen to fill larger immigration quotas, with many competing priorities—all within in an economic context that is uncertain. Canada is experiencing continuing immigration backlogs, there are additional employer compliance obligations and various other changes to the country’s immigration system. This may result in challenges for mobility professionals and means there is much to address as we approach 2023. • The impending Prohibition on the Purchase of Residential Property by Non-Canadians Act taking effect January 1, 2023
• Updates from, and a 2023 outlook for, Quebec
